SKIING GALORE7 NIGHTS - SEASONAL TOURThis tour begins in Juneau with 3 nights and 2 days of skiing at Eaglecrest then continues on to end in Anchorage after 4 nights and 2 days of skiing at Alyeska.
DAY 1: Arrive at Juneau International Airport, head downtown and check into your hotel. DAY 2: Ski Eaglecrest - Eaglecrest offers 2 fantastic Nordic trail systems. The lower trail is a 5km loop accessing alpine meadows as you approach the base lodge area. The Upper Hilda and Troy Loop routes are a 5km series of trails in higher elevation meadows, accessible by the Hooter chairlift, or by cautiously hiking up on the far left side of Trickster. The Nordic trail itself is an intermediate skill level. Eaglecrest also features great outdoor fun for the whole family on the Tubing Hill! DAY 3: Ski Eaglecrest – Whether you’re an experienced skier or snowboarder, enjoy cross country skiing, tubing with the family or if you’re looking for lessons, you’ll enjoy your time on the mountain! DAY 4: Fly to Anchorage, pick up your rental car and drive to Girdwood. About 35 miles south of Anchorage, this small community is tucked in a green valley just off Turnagain Arm. it's an easy drive along the Seward Highway, considered by many the most beautiful drive in Alaska. DAY 5: Ski Alyeska – Nestled within the Chugach Mountains on Alaska's south central coast, Alyeska Ski Area is the place to discover the mystique of the Last Frontier. Alyeska offers 2,500 vertical feet of terrain, with an average annual snowfall of 631 inches, non –existent lift lines, diverse terrain and unparalleled views DAY 6: Ski Alyeska – The resort features activities for the entire family, the Glacier Tubing Park at Alyeska Resort provides enjoyment for families and friends. The Alyeska Terrain Park is the place for freestylers to session and dial in their latest tricks. DAY 7: Drive back to Anchorage and check into your hotel by the airport. Take some time to enjoy the sites along the way. The Seward Highway was designated a National Scenic Byway in 1998, with waterfalls that cascade near the Seward Highway and the stunning view of the Kenai Mountains across Turnagain Arm. DAY 8: fly out of Anchorage to return home. Prices starting at $1199.00 per person, based on double occupancy, call for single occupancy rates, rates over Christmas break, and spring break.
