Superior "VIP" Tours offered by the
Professional Mariners' Group

In order to provide higher quality tours, we are proud to offer tours only aboard boats meeting the criteria set by our local “Professional Mariners' Group.”  Membership is restricted to long-experienced local Captains who hold current commercial insurance, Coast Guard license, Alaska Fishing Guide and Vessel licenses, CPR and First Aid certificates, and are enrolled in a random drug testing program. Additionally, each boat must be either a Coast Guard inspected vessel or be inspected by the Coast Guard under one of their voluntary inspection programs. Each member has agreed to abide by the “Tourism Best Management Practices” (TBMP) and is pledged to provide a “VIP-style” tour in all circumstances. We want to ensure an enjoyable, valued, personalized, and un-crowded tour for all clients. Therefore the maximum passengers carried will vary depending upon boat size and type of tour rather than legal passenger limitations. All boats must have enclosed heated cabins, toilet facilities and CO detectors to ensure maximum passenger comfort and safety.
